Meet

Anita Chu Li

Co-VP Scholars Circle

Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Anita and her family lived in Nevada and San Diego before relocating to the Bay Area in 2018. A clinical pharmacist turned Medical Affairs leader in biotech, now a health tech advisor at the intersection of healthcare, science, and technology. Anita serves as the President of the Association for Women in Science, Palo Alto, where she is dedicated to empowering women leaders in STEM across various disciplines and promoting STEM education in K-12 communities. Anita's husband also works in tech, and their two daughters, currently in 4th and 2nd grade at Franklin.


Anita and her husband has always been deeply involved in their children's education, actively volunteering and engaging with the school community to help create the best learning environment. The supportive and dedicated community inspired her to contribute more through BCE. She joined the BCE board to support its mission of delivering high-quality education across six elementary schools and one intermediate school—a mission that closely aligns with her nonprofit work.


Anita enjoys exploring new cuisines through cooking and discovering new places through travel. She has taken on learning to golf at this stage in her life which has been both fun and frustrating—but definitely an adventure!
