About the BCE Soirée
Starting at 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., your evening includes:

Meet our Auctioneer
We are thrilled to have John Marcovici, owner of Jack’s Restaurants, as our auctioneer for this year’s Live Auction! As a proud BCE parent, John has deep roots in our community—his children are currently in 4th grade at Franklin, 7th grade at BIS, and 9th grade at BHS. He knows firsthand the impact of our incredible teachers, staff, and the wide range of programs that make Burlingame schools so special.
John is honored to support BCE and is ready to bring his signature energy and enthusiasm to the evening. With a lively crowd, great company, and a little pre-auction encouragement from a well-stocked bar, he’s looking forward to a night of celebration, generosity, and some friendly bidding wars—all in support of our schools! Get ready for a fun-filled night with John at the helm—let’s make this fundraiser our best one yet!

We need Volunteers!
If you're interested in volunteering for our March 22, 2025 Fundraising Soirée, we would love to have you join our team!
As a volunteer, you'll play a key role in soliciting exciting auction packages that will be featured during the event. You’ll reach out to local businesses, donors, and contacts to gather unique and valuable items that will drive bids. On the day of the event, volunteers will also help with setting up the venue, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and assisting during the event to ensure guests have an amazing experience.
Whether you're experienced in fundraising or new to the process, your support will have a big impact. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference while engaging with the community.

What is the BCE Soirée and how is different from the Gala?
Last year, BCE has taken all of your feedback and revitalized the Annual Fundraising Event to incorporate more time for mingling with a new layout and format. This Spring, BCE comes back with the "Annual Fundraising Soirée," our refreshed, adult-only fundraising evening affair, where attendees will partake in an array of food selections, drinks, dessert, entertainment, and the Live Auction. Most importantly, the evening will continue to feature the ever-critical Fund-A-Dream where guests donate to support our programs and teacher salaries.
Do I have to be part of Scholars Circle to attend?
Do I get to choose my seat?
Is there a dress code for the Annual Gala?
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Can I participate in the Live Auction even if I don't attend?
Can I be a volunteer for the night of the event?
Does the price of the ticket count toward my annual contribution to BCE?
